SKVL Regional Council
The Regional Council assists and is supervised by the Board of Directors. The Regional Council is elected by the General Assembly for a period of one calendar year. It deals with matters referred to it by the Board of Directors and gives proposals and opinions to the Board of Directors to promote the future activities of the Association. The regional work of the Association is a particular priority. The Regional Council meets three times during the year.
SKVL Ethics Committee
According to the SKVL rules, complaints about members of the Association are dealt with by the Ethics Committee. The Ethics Committee has the right to reprimand a member of the Association for conduct in violation of the law, good agency practice or the Association’s own guidelines or regulations. The Ethics Committee shall refer to the Board of Directors cases where other disciplinary action is proposed against a member of the Association under the rules. The Committee shall deal with complaints in accordance with the rules of procedure adopted by the Board of Directors of the Association.
SKVL Quality and Training Committee
The Quality and Training Committee is a committee appointed by the SKVL Board. The members of the committee must be SKVL Quality Entrepreneurs who have undergone quality training. The aim of the Committee is, together with SKVL member companies, to enhance the appreciation of the industry and to support private real estate agencies to operate with the highest possible quality and profitability in all market situations.
The Committee is responsible for planning and organising the quality training of SKVL members, and for documenting the quality system, keeping the A-Quality Manual up to date, and for the associated method statements and guidelines. The Committee also monitors and develops audits of quality companies and organises further training in quality management for quality companies.

SKVL Statistics Committee
The Statistics Committee is responsible for collecting data on real estate and housing brokerage. Its main task is to monitor issues of interest to the Association and its members, such as membership trends, changes in house prices, sales times and transaction volumes, the competitive situation and issues affecting the profitability of the brokerage business.
SKVL Letting Agency Committee
The Letting Agency Committee deals with issues related to the rental sector and collects information on it. The Committee updates members on the service needs of the letting agency sector and aims to raise the profile of the letting agency sector in general. The Committee also seeks to influence any shortcomings in letting agency legislation and liaises with supervisory authorities, such as the Regional State Administrative Agency and consumer protection authorities. The Committee also co-operates with the Finnish Landlord Association and Finnish Tenants VKL.
